Classical Traditional Logic and Natural Law Taught with Computer Programming. WhyTruth, beauty, and goodness exist, there is an underlying order and structure to them, and they are worth studying for their own sake. This order and structure was first discovered and written about by Aristotle and the classical Greeks and Romans who gave us traditional logic and natural law, and culminated thousands of years later in the discovery by a Christian named George Boole of the laws of thought... a discovery which led to the creation of programmable computers.
The upshot of all this is that many of the high minded classical ideas about truth, beauty and goodness from traditional logic and natural law, ideas which form the backbone of Western Civilization, are the same ideas behind computers and computer programming...and the two can be taught as a single subject. |
